Overview​

Alternative Living Concepts is a state licensed agency, operating group homes which serve adult individuals with an intellectual disability. You must be 18 years of age or older and have appropriate funding source to participate. We operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our group homes occupy no more than 2 individuals per home.

Alternative Living Concepts locations are in the Monroeville & Penn Hills area. These locations are convenient to the area’s top hospitals such as UPMC & Forbes Regional and within a short distance to Monroeville Mall. In addition, we are a short drive to Monroeville Library, Monroeville Sports Center, Monroeville Community Park and area ball fields. This community includes beautiful landscaping which is eye pleasing during walks.

Monroeville Location Amenities include:

  • Each bedroom and living area is equipped w/ a TV w/ Wifi service
  • Sparkling Swimming Pool with spacious sunbathing deck

Penn Hills Location Amenities include:

  • Each bedroom and living area is equipped w/ a TV w/ Wifi service

  • Laundry facility in each group home
